don't worry mom, i'm not actually in a cult. and i didn't get kidnapped. i'm in a pc bang with lots of chain-smoking, gaming teenagers. safe and sound.
"The PC Bang in Korea is a sort of technology age church, in which tens of thousands of young Koreans indulge in all manners of online interactions. The generic PC-Bang is a single room equipped with an average of about twenty computers, a coffee vending machine, a snack bar stocked with Ramyen and a Korean version of Slim-jims that tastes like fish."
Yum, bring us back some of those slim-jims.....or not.
Your apartment is totally cute and your outfit is rocking. I can totally relate to your entry about the crappy day. It just gets so lonely on and off when you're by yourself and foreign. There were just these random days I'd just secretly cry a lot in my room, take a shower, and go out to explore. You just have to keep going. You are lucky to have had that random man. I'll give you my uncle's phone number just in case, okay? I met a Russian couchsurfer yesterday and she is so sad here in Williamsburg. She has no car and her cool job at Marriott turned out to be doing laundry. She can't get out of it because of the contract so she's stuck doing that for three months 8 hours a day. And she lives in this awful 2-bed motel room with THREE other people. Anyway, I'm gonna go take a nap. <3 MUCH LOVE! BE STRONG!

For those inept people such as myself:
